DOJ Nag-issue ng Immigration Lookout Bulletin
Manila, Pilipinas – Inilabas ng Department of Justice (DOJ) ang isang immigration lookout bulletin order (ILBO) laban sa 43 contractor at opisyal ng gobyerno na diumano’y may kinalaman sa mga anomalya sa flood-control projects. Ang hakbang na ito ay bahagi ng masusing imbestigasyon upang masubaybayan ang mga sangkot sa kontrobersiya.
Ang ILBO ay ipinasa sa Bureau of Immigration matapos makatanggap ang DOJ ng hiwalay na kahilingan mula sa Senate Blue Ribbon Committee at ang bagong hepe ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), si Vince Dizon. Ayon sa mga lokal na eksperto, ang immigration lookout bulletin ay isang mabisang paraan upang bantayan ang galaw ng mga indibidwal na pinaghihinalaan.

Kahalagahan ng Immigration Lookout Bulletin
Mahalagang malaman na ang ILBO ay iba sa Hold Departure Order (HDO). Ayon sa mga lokal na eksperto, ang ILBO ay nagbibigay pahintulot sa Bureau of Immigration na subaybayan ang paglalakbay ng isang tao, ngunit hindi nito ipinagbabawal ang pag-alis ng bansa. Sa kabilang banda, ang HDO ay nagbabawal sa isang tao na umalis ng bansa at kailangan itong ipag-utos ng korte.
Ang paggamit ng immigration lookout bulletin ay isang hakbang para matiyak na hindi makakatakas ang mga pinaghihinalaan habang isinasagawa ang imbestigasyon sa mga anomalya sa flood-control projects.
